Can someone tell me when Fairy Tail is coming back? I haven’t heard anything and I’m starting to worry that it won’t air again.
Fairy Tail’s TV timeslot is purchased by the year, so March/April 2017 at the earliest with the official announcement 1 or 2 months before that. But don’t worry, Mashima has been acting like an 8 year old with a big secret that he can’t wait to tell us.
From Volume 55: “If you’re wondering why I’m writing this, it’s because I’ve got something I’m bursting to tell people about, but just can’t! I know it isn’t fair to only touch on it like this, but the final decision is that I can’t. But man, do I want to talk about it!
Anonymous asked: DW I never use that attitude with people lol, but I just really hate juvia and for hiro to bring her back in less than one chapter just pissed me off, her only role is to worship gray and nothing more, she only fights for him, and when she's not, she only wins because he's fighting with her, I'm sorry for bothering you anyway
Okay, that’s good to hear and it’s totally fine if you don’t like her :)
I do like her, so with that in mind I was happy that she’s back, but I agree that it was a little too soon. On the other hand, that’s just how Fairy Tail is, the main circle of characters will always come back. Fairy Tail is not Rave Master. On a side note, I really admire how Wendy’s healing abilities have come along and enjoyed her moment with Juvia, it was cute.
While I agree that Juvia is mostly fighting for or generally around Gray and worshipping him, she doesn’t put him above her friends. First example is when she killed Keith, knowing it would kill Silver, in order to protect her friends, disregarding her own feelings entirely. The second being when she sacrificed herself to get Cana out of Freed’s barrier. Juvia really loves all of her friends and stands her ground in order to protect them. In fact, I don’t doubt she still would have stabbed herself, if she was forced to fight someone else.
All in all, I just disagree with you, but I don’t wanna try to convince you and make this post a novel. Yes, Juvia can be annoying at times, but honestly so can the other characters. Natsu is simple, Erza is uptight, Lucy is whiny, Gray is edgy, Gajeel is showy, … and Juvia is dependant, but I love all of them because of that. Reading about characters that have no flaws and don’t annoy you from time to time makes for a very boring story.
“Fairy Tail is not Rave Master.“
Fairy Tail is exactly like Rave Master. Every single main character in Rave Master has died and been revived. Heck, I think Let died at least once in every single arc. Look at Rave Master’s final arc. Musica, Belnika, Niebel, Let, and Haru all died and were brought back to life. That’s five out of the eight main characters.
There’s more to Rave Master than just Sieghart and Reina’s death.
I’m sorry. Did I read a different Rave Master than you?
Rave Master had the exact same issues as Fairy Tail, yet its fans seem to suffer from collective amnesia. I’m sick of people cherry-picking and holding Rave Master and Fairy Tail to different standards. The fact is every single main character in Rave Master has suffered a “death” scene and been revived. In the final arc alone, Musica, Belnika, Niebel, Let and Haru “died” and were brought back. Five out of eight surviving main characters suffered a fake-out death in a single arc. We’d be here all day, if I listed the examples from the entire series.
Rave Master had a few deaths that were real: Gale, Reina, Sieghart, Shiba. But Fairy Tail has also had a few couple of deaths: Simon, Future Lucy, Silver, Igneel. You’re free to criticize the series, but I’m calling this post out for double standards.
Chapter 278 - Belnika’s “sacrifice”
But wait she negated the self-destruct! Sacrifice averted.
Niebel decides to join the sacrifice party, and sacrifices his time.
Chapter 279
Chapter 280
Chapter 281
In Chapter 293, Julia even grieves for Let.
And Griff is still waiting beside the supposed corpses of Belnika and Niebel
Chapter 294 - Haru’s Death Epilogue - Of course it turns out that not a single person died in the end. We’re told that Etherion, Rave, and Star Memory brought everyone back to life
We have been only introduced to 11 Spriggan so far. The one we haven’t been introduced to yet is the one with a ponytail in front of Bradman beside I believe Invel. Their hair has a resemblance to Zera due to the spikes. Zera also stated that if Mavis were to remember her she would ‘die’ once again. The first thing that Mavis remembered when her body was freed from the lacrima was Zera. So,it is not possible for Mavis to create Zera’s illusion. Also,Zeref knew who Zera was as well since,as he can see Mavis’ illusions. Zera might be falsely leading the guild members to Fairy Tail so they can be ambushed by the Spriggan 12. I also find it a bit suspicious that Zera knew where the guild was even though Fiore was shrunk and the other members didn’t find where the guild was even if they were near, like Team Natsu. While,Zera is all the way at Tenrou. Maybe after all the guild members get to Fairy Tail,Zera will take on a different appearance and introduce herself as the 12th Spriggan.
Zera is not a Spriggan. All 12 are already accounted for. Mashima just changed a few of their designs.
3 days into Brexit, pound sterling has stabilised and is nearly back up to the pre-brexit level. Basically it’s business as usual. In contrast, the euro is now dropping quite dramatically. This is just how stock markets work and is nothing to worry about unless you’re a banker or a stock-broker. We are not in economic crisis, any ‘recession’ you hear about is trying to make you scared. Don’t be scared.
3 days into Brexit, we have secured special trade agreements with USA, Canada and Germany. More nations to follow; India, Australia and New Zealand in particular are likely to jump at this opportunity that the EU previously blocked them from.
Your human rights are completely intact and stamped into UK law, they aren’t going anywhere.
If you’re concerned that the result has caused increased racism in your area, you can tweet, email or write to your MP expressing your concerns.
If you actually see people in your area being racist on the street, you can ring 101 and inform the police that there is casual racial discrimination going on in the area and you think they should know. And ofc protect and stick up for your POC friends should anyone target them!
The media is going to try their level best to incite fear, please don’t fall for it.
“3 days into Brexit, we have secured special trade agreements with USA, Canada and Germany”
Oh dear. I’m an American, and I’m a little tired of seeing this argument pop up. First of all, nothing has been secured, much less a trade deal. Our president was mostly concerned with preventing a US market panic, but reading between the lines doesn’t paint such a rosy picture. Obama usually uses the phrase “special relationship” when an ally has really ticked him off. Notice how not a single Democratic senator is quoted in the article and Clinton was positively cool on the idea.
“Hillary Clinton was more cautious in a statement Friday, affirming
the close ties between the countries. Reacting to plunging global stock
markets, she said, “our first task has to be to make sure that the
economic uncertainty created by these events does not hurt working
families here in America.”
Donald Trump and the Republicans are currently losing in the polls, so they’re desperately trying to use Brexit as a wedge issue for the American election. Trust me, any talk of US-UK trade deals is nothing more than politicking and wishful thinking at the current time.
Even then our lawmaking apparatus is slow and cumbersome. So that’s 5-10 years even with preferential treatment just as Obama said, and there’s no guarantee that Britain will get preferential treatment. Americans are not in the mood for free trade deals, and Britain by itself doesn’t have much leverage. Also the pound certainly hasn’t stabilized yet. The markets were closed over the weekend, and there was a dead cat bounce. However, the GBP/USD opened at 1.35 in the Asian markets and is currently trending down.

My
understanding of the word ‘Dai’ can mean = “great, grand or big.”
‘Mahou’ is “magic” and 'Sekai’ means “world or earth.” I’ve seen other
translations take 'sekai’ to mean as “kingdom”, but I can’t really
swallow that translation. Putting all three together though..I suppose
it’s just context. Sorry for being useless…
Your understanding is basically correct. It’s Great + Magic + World, but that doesn’t sound natural at all, does it? My question is how the specific term should be rendered. The two options I’ve seen most as “Ultimate Magic World” and “World of Great Magic.”
At the core, it’s changing the world to a state where magic is exponentially more powerful (or something). A world that is filled with great magic. But this is a consistent term that’s used fairly casually in conversation, so it needs to sound not stupid. “We’re going to create the Great Magic World,” doesn’t really flow.
I like the official translation, “Grand Magic World.” It flows easier than “Great Magic World” and keeps the parallel structure of the Japanese.
GUYS IM ABOUT TO HAVE A PANIC ATTACK CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN ME WHAT IS THIS ABOUT MASHIMA SAYING THAT NALU WONT HAPPEN BC I SWEAR IM CRYING AND I NEED TO STAY CALM BC I HAVE SCHOOL TOMORROW
People are taking an interview out of context. That’s all. Mashima never said that Nalu wouldn’t happen, just that Nalu wasn’t at the same romantic stage as Jerza, Gajevy, and Gruvia. Which is a fact. Natsu and Lucy love each other, but they aren’t actively thinking about romance like the other couples are. Nalu is the slow burn, friends-become-lovers-at-the-end of the manga relationship.
I wonder if the manga isn’t publishing right now. It’s been more than a week since the last manga update. They said something about a May 17 special. Do you guys think that’s the next publishing date?
Sigh. Please do a little research before you panic. Last week was a national holiday in Japan (Sort of like Independence Day). There was no chapter last week because all the magazines are on break. Chapter 484 will be officially released on Wednesday, May 11 as the chapters usually are, and the scans will be online in a few hours.
Anonymous asked: You know that damn movie almost rips my heart apart since it shows that Kaiba's bond with his little brother is basically dead (he doesn't have the locket anymore(and I guess it's never fully explained why), he treats Mokuba like an employee etc.) but the worst part was the ending were he still went on with his plans despite his brother begging him not to. It just saddens me beyond words. So please, do tell me your honest opinion about the ending - does Kaiba return to his little brother? :'
I think the movie will distress people who are only familiar with the anime continuity. The end of the movie is clearly a reference to the end of Death-T, and that’s a powerful and uplifting message to conclude the series with. Because Kaiba does indeed return after Death-T, and he returns as a much better, kinder person.
If you read Death-T, it makes a lot more sense why Kaiba is so determined to rebuild the Millennium Puzzle. After Death-T, Yugi shattered Kaiba’s heart and forced him to rebuild it like a puzzle. If Kaiba was able to regain so much happiness from rebuilding the puzzle of his own heart, then surely rebuilding Atem’s puzzle would ease the grief of his passing. Of course Kaiba is mistaken in that respect, but he’s not crazy.
A lot of people are saying that Kaiba regressed in the movie, and that’s true to some degree. Seto is very human in that regard, because who wouldn’t regress after the death of their best friend? But he isn’t acting out of malice and anger like he did in Death-T and to a lesser degree in Battle City. He just needs closure. And I think Kaiba progressed in other important ways, such as being open to a friendship with Yugi.
In my opinion, Seto leaving Mokuba at the end of the movie shows how far the two have come. Mokuba has also grown since Death-T and Duelist Kingdom, he’s not a little kid who’s going to get kidnapped again. Seto can leave KaibaCorp in Mokuba’s care and trust that everything will be alright even without him there. That’s a big change from Death-T when Seto called Mokuba a loser and a failure. Mokuba never wanted Seto to be his surrogate father; Mokuba wanted to be respected by his older brother and entrusted with adult responsibilities.
Sometimes I get the feeling that the anime completely misinterpreted
Seto and Mokuba’s relationship. Although Seto might be the older brother
in chronological years, it’s Mokuba who actually takes on the responsibilities of the older sibling. After Death-T, Mokuba realizes that Seto can hardly take care of
himself much less his younger brother. In the manga, Mokuba isn’t waiting around to be rescued by Kaiba. Mokuba is the one who’s trying to protect his older brother.
And that’s okay because the Kaiba brothers don’t live in a vacuum. Atem might be Seto’s rival, but it’s Atem who becomes Mokuba’s mentor and big brother figure. (Yugi and Anzu also act as role models to Mokuba.) Mokuba can take on the responsibility of protecting Seto, because he trusts that Atem and the others will be there to protect him.
There first meeting at the Duelist Kingdom is a tentative trust, but Mokuba’s worldview is shaken when he realizes that Yugi kept both his promises. Not only did Yugi save Mokuba and KaibaCorp, but he was also right about Seto’s recovery.
So in the end, Mokuba acts with bravado in front of Seto, but he still convinces his brother to act kinder toward the nerd herd. Duelist Kingdom sets the stage for Battle City.
Duelist Kingdom sets the stage for Battle City. At this point, Mokuba is finally willing to stop submitting to his brother’s demands and actually challenge him on his poor decisions.
